Slow Drive

I guess before I get started, I should start the coffee pot... yeah, that's a good idea. Be back in a sec.

Man, do I love the smell of coffee grinds. Such a wonderful fresh smell... I like it especially in the grocery store aisles. Yum.

Well, of course after responding lightly to Barbara's text message... guess what... no response again. Something just doesn't seem right here... but I guess if I was gonna speculate, I would say that she has remained pretty busy in her time off. So... in lieu of this, I will wait for her to make some sort of move... even if that means nothing at all. I can't really be bothered now and I have my reasons for this.

At the moment, I wouldn't mind concentrating on behaving myself and getting my shit together to be moving out again. Saying that, I almost have to ensure that Jeff, my future roommate, keeps his head together, since he's been having a real tough go at it at the moment. Nothing that I really should get into here. It's about time I get myself out of Langdon and get myself settled again in the city... that would relieve a lot of stress of living with the folks.

Last night was a pretty decent night... I only spent like $17 of my own money at the Wildfire last night... and I ate, had a few beers and watched a few hockey games. It was great! Flames lost... Canucks won... Red Wings lost too... it was a pretty fantastic night, hockey-wise. Oh yeah... the rest of the money spent last night was what I won from the Canucks/Flames game on Saturday. Woo hoo!!

On the way home from the bar last night, it was sure foggy... kind of a sign of things to come. This morning, it was pretty white outside. There was fresh snow on the ground and icy conditions on the road. It was a pretty slow drive out this morning, but somehow I managed to keep a pretty good pace... the drive was only about 45 minutes, which was pretty good considering how much snow was coming down at one time.

Now, I'm here at the office... looks like there's a few things to do today. Gotta go over what Troy did last night, see how far he got with it all. There was at least one new filing to be done today that came in after everyone had left... so that's good. I'm gonna print off and save everything now and get my day started.

Oh yeah... and that stupid coffee pot has made a mess again. Man, I would hate that thing if it didn't make coffee.
