Bleh.
I am so bored. Bored, bored, bored. Ugh.
After posting the first entry today, I worked for probably a solid 60 minutes and then found that I had then cleaned everything off my desk that needed to be done. And now, anything that comes in doesn't have to be completed until tomorrow. Doesn't mean I won't work on it if it comes in, but c'mon... the urgency just isn't there.
Right now, I'm listening to the Killers' Hot Fuss. Pretty much all the way through the album thus far... gonna have to go back out to the car to get some more music to listen to, since I have forgotten my MP3 player at the house.
I am chatting with Justin at the moment... but he's leaving me to choose to clean his house. I mean, what kind of a guy, sans a girlfriend or wife, would choose to clean his house?? Okay, that's a pretty broad generalization... and I don't really mean it... but he is leaving the chat to clean his house.
I've done my surfing on BlogExplosion for the day... I can only seem to see the same old webpages on there so many times during the day. So much so, that I don't really feel like going onto Blogazoo or Blog Soldiers either. There's a lot of overlap there.
TSN.ca, Sportsnet.ca and all the other news sites aren't updating... so it's a slow day in the news today too.
Apparently, we'll be seeing snow in the next couple days... don't know if that's really news... but a little bit of white on the ground will be much better than the brown ground that we've seen since before Christmas.
I didn't eventually call Barbara at lunch... I did go rather early. The boredom did make me hungry in lieu of something to do. I will probably give her a call once I'm finished work... that way that should guarantee her being awake for one... who's to say she wasn't out partying last night. I kinda talked myself into waiting, 'cuz I did send her a text message yesterday, which she has yet to respond to. So, I'm kinda a little torn in whether or not to follow-up (or chase, if you will... which I told myself I shouldn't be doing) by calling.
Ugh. The boredom won't quit.
