The Tuesday After

Good morning Tuesday... once again, you feel like Monday, first day of the working week. Of course when you feel like Monday, you as well, come much too soon for the weary and sleepy eyes of everyone.

At about 11:40pm last night, I felt that it was gonna be a long night of over-thinking again, so I decided to take a sleeping aid to help me nod off. Well, it wasn't overly quick to knock me out and I was still tossin' and turnin' come 12:30am and probably through 'til after 1am. Being woken up at 6am didn't quite help either as there's still probably another few hours of working medicine to get through. Once I arrived at the office, I rested my eyes for a half hour or so... almost falling completely asleep. I did have my alarm set on my phone set to 8am, so if I did fall asleep, I'd still be alright.

In other news today, my Dirty Hairy Mouth has been shaved off... a new year, a new un-bearded face. Yeah, I decided to shave off the ol' beard and try it anew. Geez, I had it since April or so... so it's about time that my chin saw some actual daylight these days.

Otherwise... nothing much has changed since last night... I might close my eyes again until I hear the rattling of keys or the opening of office doors. OR just drink a whole load more coffee. Either way... they'll both help me wake up one way or the other.
