Okay, so I don't have a Silent Bob to justify the "us" part of the quote, but fuck me if I didn't think the whole world was caving in on me. It was a very good news/bad news kind of day for me yesterday.

Good news: it wasn't overly busy, so there wasn't much for stress...
Bad news: I was bored out of my freakin' mind, 'cuz I didn't bring my laptop with me.

Good news: I managed to take an hour or more for lunch...
Bad news: It was because my debit card didn't work and needed to rectify the problem for lunch. When I reported my credit card gone, I ordered a new debit card. I was told that my old one would work until I activated the new one... guess what. They cancelled my old one when they issued my new one and slipped it in the mail. It's embarrassing to be paying for my new SIM card and not having the debit payment going through.
Good news: since I only had $20 in cash, that's all I had to pay for my new SIM card... what a nice fella I was dealing with. It would have cost me $26.

Good news: I got out of work an hour early yesterday...
Bad news: I used the time to catch up on all my bills that I had to pay around town.
Good news: I did sort out my drivers license as well after work.

Good news: I did get in contact via text messages with Barbara yesterday... I did send her one saying that my phone was gone over the holiday and wasn't sure if she was trying to contact me or not...
Bad news: when I asked her if when she's getting any time off... she replied that she'll be working full for the next couple weeks and then she's back to school.

Well, I think that just about does it for the good news/bad news portion of this outing... but I think you get the picture.

Last night, I also rented Shaun of the Dead... man, that's a funny show. Also was down at the bar for the Canada/Switzerland junior game. That was quite good.

Today, brought the laptop in for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06... and after work, will be heading to the Saddledome to see the Flames take on the Wild. Got my Gaborik jersey on and everything for the occasion. Lee will be so impressed.

Anyways... I'm off for my first round of the day and a game of Tic-Tac-Toe with Sue... catch ya later!!
