Wow... what an unmotivated start to the day. Actually, I thought I was doing really well when I got up this morning. Well, sort of... I did hit the snooze button an extra time, without really realizing it, I think. But once I was up and about, I was doing alright. Showered, gassed up the car and was on my way in. By 7am, the sun had crept over the prairie horizon and was in plain sight for the first time this year... in my rear view mirror. That'll be a pain for a while, but at least there's light again in the morning. Woo hoo!! Bring on the spring!

Last night was a night at the Wildfire for the Flames/Predators game... woo hoo for the Predators. Benny came and met me and we had a few beers, ate and cheered on Nashville to their 3-2 victory over the Flames. Myself being the Canucks fan that I am and Benny being the Red Wings fan that he is... we make a formidable foe to most people in the pub cheering for the Flames. It's quite entertaining really... we take it as well as we give it too.

There really wasn't a whole lot to the night really... after the game had ended, we both took off and that was pretty much that. I had to gloat on the text messages when I got home, but that was the only stupid thing I did in a less-than-normal drunk state. I was doing pretty good after the night there.

Woo hoo!! More work just came in... how fantastic!

So yeah... again, it was a fairly low-key affair. Benny was talking about another low-key weekend... well, it'd be another for me, I don't think it was very low-key for him last weekend. I wouldn't mind getting away with doing very little this weekend. If it decides to warm up over the weekend, I would be willing to celebrate baseball's spring training with a little myself. After last season's wild throws, I wouldn't mind getting an early start on throwing the ball around the diamond a bit. Probably not going to get that lucky... I've heard that the weather is more than likely gonna turn for the wintery sessions again tomorrow. Joy.

Tonight... I forsee nothing. Maybe do a little more posting if at all necessary. Maybe try and get my goalie pads fixed tonight. I wouldn't mind getting out and playing again tomorrow. Plus, I kinda said I would.
