Welcome Newbie!

It's already March 3rd?? C'mon spring!!

A nice surprise yesterday, a one Mr. Thomas Hughes joined the land of the cyber-nerds by getting onto MSN Messenger... I haven't chatted with the ol' boy in ages. Sure great to hear from him.



To you, Tom m'boy... welcome. Don't let the crusties in your eye consume your vision... remember to blink and get fresh air from time to time.

Now, I'm not getting a lot of writing done, since I've got a couple Messenger conversations going at once. I wouldn't mind giving an update... but nooooo... I have to be proper social.

Let's see... after work last night, met up with Kelly down at the Bull & Finch in DouglasGlen... got some nice talent in there. I got an update on all the boozin' exploits of himself and the Odd Squad he keeps as e-mail buddies. Shit, I wanted to post a little bit of an e-mail he forwarded me in regards to a numbnut who doesn't understand the premise of being dumped. That was quite funny. It was mostly a few beers just to catch up... hadn't seen him in absolutely ages. I would have to do quite a bit of digging through the Blog to find out when I saw him last. It is in there somewhere, I'm sure.

After the beers, it was over to the Wildfire for some ribs and a beer... catch a little bit of the Flames/Blues game, but I wasn't really paying too much attention. Benny was about for one as well... the ribs I ordered were actually pretty big... surprise, surprise... ate and then headed off home.

By then, I was actually sauced up pretty well... shock horror. There wasn't much happenin' on the computer around 9pm, so I decided to shove off to bed. Just as I was climbin' in, my phone rang (with its most annoying ringtone or beep ever!) and scared the bejeezus out of me. I had left her a quick phone message on the drive between Calgary and Langdon... wanted to make sure that everything was cool and luckily it was all good. We chatted for a few minutes and I'm gonna give her a ring after the hockey game on Sunday.

Oh yeah... and the midnight text message from Jeff, bragging about his date... thanks for wakin' me up, jerk!

Well, it could be a busy one today... not too sure though... got lots to file this morning for the EDGAR room, but most of it is already done. So, that's cool... gonna go visit Julie tonight and watch some movies over at hers. Should be a nice & quiet one... and out of Langdon as well! And that's pretty much my plan for Friday... Saturday is still up in the air... hopefully quiet as well.

And yes... I'm well aware that the Canucks lost last night. Argh. Concerns are brewing again.
