Ignoring Prozac
Ah man... I was kind of excited to show a picture of the poster I did up for the street hockey tournament that will be held at the Wildfire in February. Seemingly, I can't open up my Microsoft Publisher file in a different version of saud program. Geez... that kinda sucks. I was gonna print a whole load of them off.
Damn.
Ah well, no biggie... that poster and watching 'Prozac Nation' (with Christina Ricci and Michelle Williams) was pretty much all I did last night before an early night to bed. That Prozac Nation is a pretty damn good flick... if you like a downer perspective kind of film. After watching the movie, I wouldn't mind going and finding the book to read. I really do tend to like those sort of movies of self-realization and/or depression... it's always somewhat comforting and a good learning tool for the general world around me.
I'm also really enjoy watching Christina Ricci... she's got a lot of talent as an actress, she's fairly attractive and she doesn't always pick the biggest box office smashes for movies, just the off-beat kind of stories. I think she'll make the Hall of Fame list, once I find some online pics to reference.
I neglected to make any more communication with Barbara yesterday... and there's much doubt that I'll do so today as well. I just can't chase her... although she still plays on my mind. Jeff suggested to me that I should make it like she can't have me and therefore some sort of attraction can be made. I dunno if that's really my thing... y'know. I've never really done anything like that before and frankly, it doesn't really appeal to me. If I can just sort of ignore the thought of her for a while... then possibly I can wrap my head around these things again.
Jeff and I also toyed with the theory that she could be seeing someone else as well... there are a few signs that would suggest that. I'm not gonna be one to accuse or anything, it's still just in the theory stage.
Well, I'm hoping today here at the office will be a bit busier. It was quite good yesterday... quite a few things came in, including a 100+ page filing to convert. That kept me busy for a couple hours. Another few of them would be greatly appreciated.
Tonight, I have floor hockey... so I should try and find someway to kill sometime in between work and then. I'll probably give Amber a call and see if she's back from working on the cruise ships.
Anyways... there's a project that needs doing this morning... so I best get cracking!
