Bad News & Good News

I didn't really want to do a lot of writing tonight, but I found myself writing quite a bit for my Hockey Pool Blog, so I thought... oh, what the hell!

Just for the hell of it as well, I thought I'd post a pic. Oh, the things I do when I'm bored and there's a camera near by.



Well, I can't say that my luck has been up to par with what I'd like it to be... the Hockey Pool at the Wildfire was supposed to have it's draft Thursday night.

Nope. Apparently, Greg had received several phone calls all day on Thursday of people cancelling or saying that they couldn't make it. He wasn't a happy bunny, nor was I... Pa... and Rob, who we called down to join in. The only good thing about being down there was the fact that I did go overboard again on the beers.

Also, I had gone down to the pub Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday to go see if I could catch Theresa in action at work... nope. So, I'm still sort of accepting resumes for the position of Assistant Concert Goer for next week and also November 1st for Matt Good.

The Honda Civic that I wanted from the Auto Trader has been sold. Kinda gutted about that. So, I might in fact buy Rob's 1992 Pontiac Sunbird... it's a car. Point A to Point B... with a heater in winter. I'll add the CD player later.

Meathead was still Meathead today... which wasn't quite as bad in the morning, 'cuz I was still pretty drunk this morning. My tolerance level sort of increased through the day.

On the good side... yes, there's still good news to come. It was payday today!! Woo hoo!! Now I can pay off my drinking debts on my credit card. I think I wanna start a new resolution after this weekend... only bring money I want to spend at the bar when I go. That way, if I have only $40 in my pocket, I won't spend $80. I hate starting tabs... I prefer the pay as you drink in the pubs in England.

Tomorrow, I am guaranteed to run a Hockey Pool draft... doesn't matter how many show, I'm doing it. I'm thinking I'll have around 20 anyways... my fingers are crossed for a few question marks like Gout and Kevin... I shall get some pictures from the afternoon out there. It's gonna be a whole load of fun.

Otherwise... that's just about it. Just winding down for an early night to bed. It'll do me some good. I think I'll try my damndest to sleep in for a while in the morning... or until the folks are loud enough to drive me nuts. I can't wait to move out.... AGAIN!
