After Eleven...

I thought I'd write a bit tonight and do a little surfing on BlogMad. BlogMad seems to be the only exchange really giving me hits... well, I'm sure if I surfed Blogazoo a little more, there'd be hits there, but what gives with BlogExplosion??

Let me put it out there... if someone gives a good review of the Tales on BlogExplosion, there could be 300 BE credits in for them. I need to up the rotation from my odd looking 67% rating, or whatever it is, I have on there. Anyone up for it? I mean, it might be a tad average, but there's been some good pics and a little drama here and there. Meh. I do the surfing, wouldn't mind getting the hits. I remember the days of 30+ hits a day from BE. Now, I'm only getting 8 to 12. Argh.

Ah well... BlogMad it is then.

I lost a little more of my account standings at Poker... it's the first time I've played in a couple months... just wouldn't mind finishing it off, but I did finish second in one game, but it wasn't enough to forge ahead really. So, I might give it another go if it's dead again at work tomorrow.

My mind is escaping me again... I did give a piece of that on the Scribblings tonight. It may make for some interesting reading.

A few beers with Chris tonight... then the poker... that pretty much summed up the afternoon.

Julie had an adventure coming back from Washington seeing Dave Matthews... so much so that her car broke down and I picked her up from her then ride-givers. That made for some downtown core traffic battles... yay!

Yawn...

Oh yeah, bought myself an External Hard Drive... 160GB for $100... man, has that ever made a difference on the laptop, cleaning off the multimedia *cough*porn*cough* from the hard drive. Now I can archive a lot of my writing and music and multimedia... and have a relatively free computer which moves at a brisker pace now. Thoughts of a new laptop have quelled a little bit now.

Tomorrow is my one-year anniversary at Filing Services Canada... the raise is in place, as per the contract schedule and I'm up for review every 6 months. That puts me... the end of March... the end of the next Annual rush. Hmmmm... no pressure. If anything, that'll drive the ol' stock up. Tried to squirm a laptop out of the deal... didn't look too plausible. Worth a try, right?

Time for sleep... yawning like mad in the sauna that is called my room.
