Gorgeous Day By The River

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Last night's activity... a skate along the Bow River. I actually neglected to mention that I went for an hour long skate on Sunday afternoon as well... going West along the paths to Edworthy Park and back along the southside of the river. Yesterday, with Chris, we only went to Crowchild Trail, the picture is from the pedestrian bridge underneath.

The weather over the last couple days has been quite warm. When we took off yesterday, after 6pm, it was still in the high 20's, which was exceptionally gorgeous. Sunday afternoon, the paths weren't terribly busy, except for around Edworthy Park. There it was quite busy. People picnicing and playing in the water. Yesterday, the paths were a lot more full... since I worked yesterday, I had a hard time remembering that it was a holiday. There were lots of people on the Bow rafting and such... something that I want to do this summer.

Past that, I finished watching Season 1 of Samurai Jack... might have to find Season 2 next weekend. That is such a cool show.

I was in bed by 9-9:30pm last night... I just wanted to rest up for the rest of the week. I got my bit of exercise in and there was nothing on TV... didn't feel like playing any poker, still don't really... and that was about that.

Man, I dreamed and dreamed and dreamed last night... I dreamt that I was cutting lawns with my Dad when I didn't show up for a court date, so I was anxiously awaiting some court officials to find me. Some of the lawns we had to cut were kinda odd... a backyard, whilst a dinner party took place. Then it got really weird as there were T-Rex's and Superpeople and all sorts invading a bedroom that myself and a couple other people were hiding away in. I don't know... it was odd. Then the alarm went off at 6:15am... refreshed... and kinda blown away... snooze button... then up... then shower... then out the door... got breakfast at McDonalds (which I haven't done in months)... and here I am.

The inbox is still empty of any new work to be done. In lieu of that, I've just been writing, playing games, reading the CBA for the NHL, as one of my articles on Canucks Rush had an error in it on my part. Who knew that you weren't allowed to have option years anymore on contracts in the NHL?? I certainly didn't hear that. So, I had to do a revision on my last article there. Nothing else is really new in the hockey world to write about, so I don't really have that to go on this morning. I'm sure I'll find something.

Dad goes in to the hospital today for a hernia operation. He has been struggling with a hernia for a while now... and today is finally his day to get that fixed. I'm sure he's pleased. I don't know exactly when he goes in for that or where he'll be afterwards. I have a ball game in Langdon tonight, so I'll give Mom a shout and see where he is or they are or whatever, before heading out to Langdon to play ball.

Maybe I'll try and finish up a couple other things here in the office. I have to move a monitor, do some billing and continue writing my how-to manual for EDGAR filing still. That'll probably be what takes up my time today... the writing part. The other two won't take me very long at all.

In conclusion... uhhhhhh... ah fuck it.
