'Tis Friday, It Is

A dreary Friday morning in Calgary... still sort of warm though. The rain has been coming down for a couple days, which isn't terrible... I don't mind the rain. The roads haven't been icy, just wet and the windshield wipers needed a good workout this week again... and they got it. I've heard rumblings that its supposed to be super-warm today, so I've worn my orange hawaiian shirt, shorts and sandals. Here's hoping!

Don't think its gonna get very busy here at the office today. Devin is gonna start a later shift, so I won't see him until 1pm today. That's alright. He does test my nerves sometimes. Some... or a lot... haven't quite decided yet.

I've got one filing to continue this morning... I don't think it'll take too long, as this client is adding a couple exhibits to a filing I did for them earlier this week. The exhibits should only be a couple pages each... so that'll be easy today. I've got to check and see what Devin has left for me in regards to his filings. I am wondering if there is much to get done on his side this morning.

Yesterday, I had a phone call with a potential client who was a bit of a hardass. I suppose work is work, but I hope I don't have to deal with him on a regular basis. It sounds like his biggest documents don't stretch over 100 pages, so that won't be too bad.

I also confirmed all the information that I needed to for my digital camera to come from BestBuy.ca yesterday. It should be shipped today, which I have it couriered to the office, so it shouldn't take too long to get here. I'm hoping for a Monday or Tuesday arrival... that way I can have a couple days with it before I take it with me to Victoria. Oh, I can't wait!!

Probably gonna meet up with Kelly after work today... go for a beer or two. I don't have much for plans otherwise and I don't really want to make many more plans to be honest. Tomorrow night's game between Calgary and Vancouver will be the big night this weekend. I think I'll keep it that way.

Oddly, I didn't hear from Benny at all yesterday... his phone just went straight to voicemail when I called him yesterday after work. I wonder if he's having more problems with his phone. He didn't answer any MSN messages either... abducted by aliens?? Possibly.

And well... that's pretty much that for the day. Let's see how it pans out, eh??
