Procrastination Again...

Man, not a lot of desire to update of late... don't know why. Maybe the desire of writing is sort of lost on me at the moment. With all the moving and all the things on the go, I would way rather just skip the writing parts and just move on. It's kind of a lull I'm in, I suppose.

I could just let some of the pictures do the talking for me... that'd be good.

Last night was Game 4 between the Flames & Ducks... with the Ducks winning and the beer flowing, it made for a pretty good & crazy night. Right Benny?

And Joe... don't hide, man!

From the Landing in Chestermere to the Wildfire in Langdon, we made it into a pretty good and loud night. I don't think I got home until midnight or so. I almost got to drive the Hummer back from Chestermere, but the Ducks were up 2-0 after 2 periods and John wasn't gonna let a Ducks' supporter drive the Hummer back, especially if they were winning.

Today was an okay day... despite the exhaustion from the night before. I got in lunch with Barb today. We went to East Side Marios at Sunridge... what a nightmare. My hour lunch that I got was already up by the time the food showed up at the table. Luckily, that just meant I got to spend a little more time with Barb today. I even snagged a picture of Barb too while she was on the phone. Mwah ha ha...

I still can't help but fancy her... it really kinda sucks, 'cuz well... there just isn't any way that it could be, because she's so busy and even if she said that it would be possible, it would suck even more that I couldn't see her all the time. At least with moving into town, I do open myself up for a few more meetings in her late night sessions. At least I can show up and not have to worry about getting back to Langdon. Not like that was a big concern in the first place, but it is sure nice to sleep in your own bed. Especially if you're not sleeping in another's...

I was actually fairly productive at the office today... both sales guys were through the office during the day. You know it's payday when...

Brydon came in after lunch wearing this shirt...

I had made the remark of "how much did someone pay for that shirt?" I made sure not to say that until all the business at hand was done... ha ha. But that shirt is attrocious. As soon as I saw it I was bound to make some sort of remark. I mean, how can you not?

4:30pm came in a big hurry actually this afternoon... everything was caught up. Devin was still working, slowly, on some annual documents that are due for Monday when I left. I'm glad everything was done, 'cuz he hasn't been able to do a whole hell of a lot lately.

Once I was home, I played some street hockey across the street, chatted with Rob and some of the other neighbours, had some beers and basically procrastinated against taking down my room. But I have since done that tonight and my room sort of looks like this at the moment...

I should be able to get quite a bit done, if not alll, tomorrow. Jen said she was working until 5pm tomorrow, so that'll mean it'll be somewhat of a quiet move and then when she's done, we can sort out what goes where.

That's the plan... and that was the post.
