Busy Weekend Ahead
Yawn!!
I didn't get home until 1am last night... and all I intended to do last night was pick up my ball uniform, I didn't think I would stick around in town for that long. I ended up having a few with Jen, Carly, Shannon and a couple of guys that they work with at Starbucks. That sorta shot the night to hell... but I'm not really complaining too much.
Well, it's gonna be a lot less busy, I think now. Devin actually finished up quite a bit that was outstanding last night. He's been working evenings for the last couple weeks, except for the couple days that I was away. The inbox has been cleaned up quite well.
Man, it's gonna be busy outside of work though... tonight will be collecting sheets for the playoff pool. I'm heading down to the Riverbend Station to meet up with Gout and hopefully Kelly for a beer or two before heading back to the Flower in Langdon to meet up with the rest of the guys tonight.
Friday night, the first game of the season for ball... the First Pitch Tournament up at Shouldice Park should be good. I'm getting quite anxious to start playing... am a little worried about standing in the batters box trying to keep up with the faster pitches, but a few at-bats should calm my nerves a bit. I really wish I got into the batting cage to see some pitches, but I think I'll be alright. Just gotta flash some leather on the field and all will be well.
Saturday, I have 3 games in the tournament. Noon, 3pm and 6pm... talk about getting my fill right away. I'm sure I'm gonna be pretty sore by the end of it all.
I'm almost glad that the Canucks didn't make the playoffs... well, no I'm not, but I do have a reason for saying it... I will have little to no concern about the first few rounds of the playoffs and missing out on any ball to watch the games. I know my dedication would have put me in some serious binds.
Sunday, depending on whether or not I will be invited to go play with the Hooligans in their Slow Pitch game or whether we play again in the tournament, I might try and move some more stuff into Jen's place.
Monday, work will start to pack up to move offices to start Tuesday morning in Forest Lawn. The stop sign on the right is on the corner of where the building is located in Forest Lawn. For some reason, I thought it would be a good idea to take a picture of it.Once the office is all moved, I think I'll feel quite a bit more comfortable to finish moving all of my stuff into the house in Sunnyside. That'll be so nice to have done and get settled down there.
Damn, having this long stop sign pic is making me write quite a bit more so I don't have it stretching down below all my text. I think I'll post some new links that I've done myself or found whilst surfing.
I have posted more photos from the Victoria weekend on my MSN Space...
Another MSN Space from my buddy Warren... he's blogging now as well. I don't really get much time to chat with him online, so this will be a good way to keep up with him. Despite the fact he quotes Dr. Phil... ha ha.
MSN Space is catching on quite quickly by the looks of things... it's so easy to use since its attached to everyone's MSN Messenger.
Jeff has his Destination Unknown... and his rather unusual stories. That guy makes me shake my head in disbelief sometimes.
MeLoDRaMa'S WoRLD is from my best net friend, Melanie... she doesn't really update it very often, but she does post quite a few pics when she has them.
Well, I've made it past the sign in the post... so it should have cleared in the actual Blog. So, I think I'll kill it for now. I might come back later this afternoon and talk music or something. Who knows?
