Production Lint?

Good morning all... a fine Wednesday today. I've got a little pep in my step this morning. I must have, since I really just got in and started working! Usually, I do this (writing to the Blog) first, but instead I actually did some work. Crap... does this mean I like my job??

Well, I have to say yesterday was fairly productive... except at the office. Work was a little bit weak again, but otherwise, I accomplished a few other things.

I checked with Great Plains Cresting, the shop just down the road from my office... they will accept my jersey to be crested... and it will take aobut 2 weeks to do, since they are backlogged of Team Canada stuff, since they changed the fonts on the jerseys and such. So, I will go drop off my new Team Canada jersey today to get Todd Bertuzzi's #14 on it. Oh, I can't wait.

On the way home from work yesterday, I got a call on my cell from the Canadian Bonded Credits Limited company regarding my student loan at Scotiabank. Apparently, I have been delinquent on my payments for a while and now the bank wants to settle up right now or destroy my credit rating. Amongst the shock comes a wee bit of anger... since I have had it set up since 1999 to have all my payments taken out of my account every month automatically. So, what the fuck?? Anyways... I have got another lending company sorting me out to get this settled up, but man, what a pain in the ass. I knew the bank has wanted some details about my student loan, but it shouldn't been about anything payment-wise... since it was automatic.

I also managed to stretch out 500km in my car on one tank of gas... I was pretty impressed by the mileage there. That was still the same tank of gas Benny, Jeff & I took to Banff... and it also made a couple more trips into town and such. So, that was pretty good. It was about $41 to fill it up at 82.9 cents a litre. Yup, the gas station in Langdon is just that cheap.

Last night, I also headed over to Jeff's... he's on a big dating website kick and well, it's hard to not follow suit. Especially, for the laugh... it's kinda fun surfin' through all the ads leaving a hello here and there. What's the harm, right? You never know, something good may come of it yet. Okay, actually something did come from it... I'm gonna go meet a girl, Carrie, who I was talking to on OKCupid.com, that testing site I was on before. She really did seem nice enough on the site when we chatted a couple times... and why the hell not?? It's not like anything else is going for me at the moment.

So, much like yesterday's accomplishments... I have to finish most of the work off today. Drop off the jersey, do all the banking shit and go see Carrie tonight. So, come on work day... hurry up & finish, eh!

I'll generally click on it myself to see what the results actually are and where my site came up on it. I placed pretty well on the first webpage, but I found it interesting to see some of the articles related to the ex-favourite waitress at Earl's I fondly remember. It always sort of makes me wonder who did the search (from Algonquin College, no less) and ended up on my site. It's quite funny.
