How To Freeze Monkeys

Well, I suppose if they're gonna set records in the UK for album sales, I best be downloading it now then... I just can't fuckin' wait. I did end up downloading the Arctic Monkeys album, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not, and I can't say that I'm really disappointed. The only thing I'm really disappointed about is that I had to download it to listen to it now. I mean, it's been out a week now in the UK and it won't be here for at least another two in North America... I mean, what's the fuckin' deal? Well, I've got it now and have given it a few listens all the way through in the car... and it's pretty sweet. I will buy it when it comes out in the stores... it's the least I can do.

Training went pretty well yesterday... Hideo seems to be an okay guy. He also seems to get the job alright... so, there is hope for this guy yet. He also already made it through the first day with Lee, so that's also a start. I can't wait to see how the second day goes.

Watched Lord of War last night, with Nicolas Cage... that was fairly entertaining. It also gives a good little bit of perspective on the gun-running trade. The movie was much like Blow, with Johnny Depp... written in a way that the dealer (who is a bad guy) is portrayed as the hero and that we're almost to feel sorry for him when his life turns to shit... except in Lord of War, since Cage's cold exterior doesn't get fazed, I would say mine didn't either... unlike Blow.

Well... one paragraph later, I just got a phone call from Ernest... Hideo didn't think the job was for him, or so he said in a voice mail on Ernest's cell phone. Crap. Maybe Lee did scare him away. Shitty. Well, I guess I'll doing another interview sooner rather than later.

Anyways... not a lot on the plate this morning... so, I'm gonna start up somewhat of a humour Blog that I have been joking around with Lee about. I'll see what it looks like before I start advertising it. Alright... off I go.
