No Snow On The Ground

Image hosted by Photobucket.comWho says breakfast isn't the best part of the day? Okay, I generally do... 'cept when it's from McDonalds. Got started playing Monopoly at "McDirt" as my Dad affectionately calls it and I won more online photo space and free digital prints from Snapfish.com. It's not much, but it's worth the breakfast.

A Bacon & Egg McMuffin meal did my hunger a favour and soon to be my Blog a favour too! Gotta like that, I say!

Well, I've struck out so far in finding a "date" for the Arcade Fire and I have less than 36 hours 'til the doors open at Mac Hall... hmmmm... gotta find my reserve chute, so I can pull the cord. Thank goodness I should have a couple of those. I hope.

There's one more avenue I'm waiting for before I pull the chute though... Sandra, at my Dad's office... she seems rather nice and cute. Apparently, she's single as well... bonus. Don't get me wrong though, I'm really just looking for someone to go to the show with... if anything was to bubble from it... again, it would be a bonus.

I ended up goin' to the pub last night and it was so dead in there, Stephen King would have been creeped out. There were two guys up at the bar, one girl working and Monday Night Football on every TV. Since I had the pick of the lot, I situated myself in front of the big screen and had a couple pints. I was sort of hoping to see one of the girls, Theresa or Marny or... well, anyone I would have enjoyed going with to the show... but that wasn't to be. I did win a t-shirt for being the only one watching the Packers & Panthers last night... apparently the two guys up at the bar weren't paying any attention to it at all.

That was pretty much my evening... the hours are just flying by these days. Especially at work. What's the deal with that? At least I can see the light at the end of the "no regular season hockey" tunnel. With the CBC lockout almost done too, that'll mean Hockey Night In Canada on Saturday night... WOO HOO! It's good to be home... in that way that if HNIC wasn't on, I'd be wishing I was back in England.

The snow didn't stick around yesterday, just for those interested. But man, did it fall. Big giant flakes fell for about a half hour, but since the ground is still fairly warm here, it didn't last. Neither did the rain that followed it as well. I heard reports yesterday that it should be sunny today... maybe it'll warm up too.

27°F is what it says right now on the Weather Channel's website... with a high of 48°F today. Rain & Snow Showers. Fudge.

Hey... I'll put on a Weather Channel thing on my Blog site now, just so you know how well my balls are freezing. Good plan!

Alright, on that rather cold note... I shall sign off and put my thingamajigger on right now!
