Early Morning

Well, I'm up early this morning. I half woke-up and started to think hockey, thinking I can trick myself back to dreamland... nope. My sleep-in idea didn't really work well for me.

There isn't a lot of news to read... I've caught up on the Premiership scores already, but will have to go back to see what teh results are. So, instead, I've started Blog surfing. I'll see if I can bring some new readers to the Tales or the Domain by way of surfing for credits.

This morning, I've decided to join Blog Advance. What the hell, right? I'll see if there are some new Blogs to read and new readers to come visit mine. Apparently the community at Advance is growing quite well, so I can't deny a new place to surf. Especially on mornings such as this, where there isn't a great deal going on.

Man, it's already after 9:30am here... it doesn't exactly feel that late. It feels much earlier than that. I need another cup of coffee.

Well, I'm counting down the hours until the draft... oh, this'll be fun. I'm gonna have to go knock on some doors early this afternoon to remind everyone of the impending fun we're gonna have. Then I can start piecing together all my programming for the upcoming season.

Dad is on the phone trying to convince Uncle Dale to make the trip out for the draft. It'd sure be good if he came out for a few hours. Haven't seen him in a while.

The best thing I found about the Hockey Pool is the social value of it all. It brings a nice element of community, even if it's a small microcosm in the social scene. You can always start a conversation around it, have a beer with it and meet new people. I'll probably meet a few more people today, because there will be a few strangers that have been invited that are loosely related to someone in the pool already. It's great! I'm hoping about 20 or more people will be there for the Draft this afternoon... it will make for a good afternoon.

Well, I'm gonna go and see what the score is with Dale... I shall return tomorrow, I'd imagine.
