Come On Weekend...

Hmmmm... Blogger is having a hard time firing up this morning. I'm actually writing at the moment without it fully loaded. I feel like such a rebel.

Yesterday after work, I drove over to the Future Shop behind Sunridge Mall and purchased a Pioneer CD/MP3 Deck and a remote car starter. Both with install came to just under $400. That wasn't too bad... and both are absolutely essential. The remote more so when the weather turns brutal. I couldn't actually get it all installed yesterday, that Future Shop is booked solid 'til Monday. I didn't want to book a time on Monday, because... err... you know, I don't think I really have plans on Monday. I keep thinking that I have Halloween plans on Monday, but I don't... that's Saturday. I'll call around to the Future Shops in town to see who may be able to install it sometime this weekend.

Today the parental units are off to Victoria to see my sister, Tegan graduate from college. They're gone until Sunday afternoon, so it'll just be me and the bird for a few days... and by bird, I mean Dewey, the parrot. It should be nice having somewhat of a reprieve from the folks for a few days. I'm not planning any major parties or anything like that... so don't get any ideas.

Tonight, I said I might stick around a little later and Lee and I might go visit the lovelies at Joey's... we'll see if he's interested when he gets in. I wouldn't mind goin' and saying hi for a bit and waiting until traffic dies down a bit to go home. It sounds like a fair plan to me. I think I might go down to the local as well for a couple more wobbly pops before the evening ends. Nothing major, although I know Thursdays are now my favorite day to drink.

Friday might be a quiet one... but I can't make any promises, now can I?

Today might be a quiet day on the work front... I'm kinda hoping it is. The last week and a bit has been pretty busy, it'd be nice to relax with a decent size filing that I'm not in a huge rush, nor have a nagging client breathing down my neck. 'Now, where's the fun in that?' you're thinking. Well, it would give me time to take the piss out of Meathead all day... I would kind of enjoy that. One of these days, I'll probably make him snap... but he does tend to laugh (quite loudly, in fact) at some of my lamest jokes. I have to wonder about that guy.

Hey, if you guys haven't noticed yet... I'm renting out space with BlogExplosion for week-long sessions. It's probably just a little bit lower on the page, it's not prime-time space, I'll give you that, but it's space nonetheless. At the moment, the Blog is "Denotsko"... he was the first one to put a bid on for the new week, so why not? I've been to the site a couple times... don't know if it's my cup of tea exactly, but give it a click... you may be pleasantly surprised. Ive actually purchased (with credits, not money) some space on a couple other Blogs at the moment... Anna's Blog and The Blogdikan... both were kind enough to let me give them credits for their bit of space... there you can find my logo to click on.
