Another Day... Another Cup of Coffee

Well, last night the draft didn't happen... Greg, at the Wildfire, was too busy with his new restaurant and training of new staff last night to bother, so I'm supposed to try and make it in there after work today to see what we can do to make the (now) only draft better. I can think of one thing... have the new hottie bartender as a prize. Yeowsers!

So, I had a quiet night with a couple cans last night. I worked on the Hockey Pool Blog a bit and it was somewhat of an early night. I think I'm still sort of recovering the sleep that I should be recouping on the weekend and failing miserably.

The large jobs came in late yesterday afternoon. I have a job to finish up here this morning, which shouldn't take a whole lot longer. The worst thing about a lot of these projects that I do is format HTML tables that are made by Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat and they just don't transfer the same... just a mess. That's the job though, in a nutshell... a lot HTML work, which is nice, because it is sort of interesting and I should be able to find better and faster ways to get this stuff quicker.

The bitch client that I have didn't respond to me much at all yesterday... I feel a bit more absolved by it. She did send an e-mail long after I left for the day, so I will fix her one correction that she's pointed it out and throw it back at her. I'll sure be glad to get that one off my desk.

You're right, Mark... I don't have it as bad as before. I wouldn't really complain... I don't when I actually talk to people... but I feel that I have to write something and those are the things that just escape through the fingertips. I shudder at the thought of Muppets. If only I could Jedi her to shut the hell up!

I like being in the office nice & early... I could do work if I wanted to... or I could kill the time knowing that I don't have to rush to get here. Then I can start on time and feel absolved about fucking around on the computer in the morning. Woo hoo!

Now the e-mails are coming over from Jolly Ol'... give a shout to Barry & Nicolette on the Blog. That feels like the right thing to do.

Well, the message waiting light is flashing on the phone... I suppose I should start thinking about getting that message and starting my day out. Should be busy today... thumbs up to that!
