Late Saturday Post...

Wasn't too much of a productive day... well, I guess it was... a little bit. Last night's drink session with Chris (from downstairs) went down a treat at the Yardhouse in Kensington. We sat and drank for a few hours... watched the Oilers beat the Sharks... saw Jen and her friends come in, although not sitting with us. We both had a good laugh and more than enough pints to get us proper liquored up.

So this morning, I didn't really want to get up. And I didn't until 11am... which was perfect. My small headache had dissipated and I was good to go for the day. Except I didn't know what I was gonna do for the day. So, I met Jen at Starbucks and sat with her for a while as she pretended to study and I tried to figure out what I needed to do for the day.

As it turned out, I went up to Best Buy and Sunridge Mall and shopped around there for a while. I picked up the Raconteurs single and an old David Grey CD, each for $4.99... and also Batman Begins & Constantine on DVD in a 2 for $16 deal. That was pretty good. At the mall, I managed to pick up a new Blue Jays cap to wear for ball, since I hadn't actually received a ball team cap yet. And then it was a quick trip to Rona to pick up a rack for the shower as I don't really have any room in the shower to put all my soaps and shampoos and stuff... not that I have very many, its just that I need a little bit more space amongst the amount of stuff Jen has in there.

When I got back to the house, Chris was just on his way out... so I decided to join him for his walk. We went to Original Joes for a bite to eat and managed to watch the end of the Devils/Hurricanes game on the TV. That was alright. Then back at the house, instead of going for a skate, we managed to setup my wireless router to his internet connection and I have now agreed to split the cost of the internet with him. Perfect! Only like $25 a month... can't complain with that. That means that the hockey pool and the Tales can continue over the weekend and not just for when I am at work.

And then for the rest of the night... it was a combination of watching the Senators get eliminated by the Sabres in the playoffs, updating the hockey pool, listening to some tunes and just hanging out in the house. That's it... nothing really special. I sort of fancy going out right now... but Chris doesn't seem to interested. He's taking people's money at poker tonight.

Tomorrow is Mother's Day... so, I'm off to Langdon tomorrow at some point during the day. I don't know what Dad has decided to do for it... but either its gonna be a brunch or dinner... both of which pinches me for time around my ball schedule @ 2pm... or 3pm if I'm needed for Rob's slowpitch team. I could go either way... ball is ball to me. I need to drop off some boxes at the house at some point as well... finished sorting out a lot of the stuff in my room. I think I might finish sorting all the kitchen stuff in the morning tomorrow. Maybe that was something I could have done in my boredom tonight, but never got around to it.

And that's about all I have tonight... it's a pretty quick post tonight. I just thought I'd motor through the day post-wise... I wasn't terribly excited about the day and I believe it should show.

Later!!
