A Couple More CDs

With no real need for an update on the hockey pool website, I thought that I should update the Tales this morning.

Last night was a bit of a shopping spree... as you can see there are a couple new CDs added to the ones I've bought this year, namely, the new Pearl Jam and finally arriving in Canada, Babyshambles. Both of which, I've definitely been looking forward to having. I did get a slight listen to both last night as I was sitting out on the porch playing Cribbage with Jen's friend Tony. The Pearl Jam CD came across a little better than Babyshambles... since Pete's voice is already muffled to a major degree, through the screen door, around a couple corners didn't help. So, before I really get another good listen to 'em, I'll make my car copies, to save my good copies and then I'll have a good listen while I'm at work. I also have to rip them for my mp3 player as well... so many different formats for me at the moment... it kinda sucks.

I also found a really good pair of rollerblades at Sport Mart in TD Square last night. They're a new model of Bauer skates... I'll probably take them for a rip tonight, since it'll be like 23 degrees out in the afternoon sun. They're a make of hockey skates too... none of that velcro bullshit for me. It'll be good to get out on the skates finally... I think, if I get time on the weekend, I'll try and find the best way to get to work on the skates and then it might be a good mode of transportation. I figure, if it can save me about 4 tanks of gas, the skates have already paid for themselves.

I'm gonna try and make it an early night tonight... wanna get up for the garage sale in the morning tomorrow. I don't know how well that'll go... I'm sure since Jen will be at school today and I don't think she's working... whether or not there'll be any people over tonight. I'm not really in the mood to get too wrecked at all... certainly a few beers will go a long ways.

Aw crap... my broken tooth is beginning to discomfort me again. I really should get that sorted out soon. One of these days...
