Rockin' the Bandwagon
Okay, this'll be the last thing of my morning routine that I have to do before I actually start working on the last bits of the move. I thought I would quickly write down a post just to say that the plan didn't quite work out as well as I would have hoped yesterday, now it'll be a bit of a rush today to get my bed and clothes and such down to the house before I have to get to ball practice at 2pm.
I got quite a bit more stuff moved down to the house in Sunnyside... mostly kitchen stuff and some makeshift shelving. Jen seemed to have fallen in love with all the stuff Mom had made, so I think quite a bit of the stuff I've brought in will stay. I also boxed up quite a bit of stuff, most of which I might try to sell in the Langdon-wide garage sale day they have here. Everyone sets up for their own garage sale and apparently it attracts quite a bit of people. I have quite a bit of junk I wouldn't mind getting rid of if I can.
Last night, Benny and I rocked the Flames bandwagon a bit at the Wildfire. Our incessant quacking made it fun for everyone... especially since the Flames had won. It'd be no fun for anyone if we weren't around. The moment of the night though was when the Ducks scored midway through the third (for the first time) and all the bandwagon jumpers had already given up on watching the game... Benny and I roared in celebration as did half the pub. Then you could hear screams of "don't cheer... it's the wrong team." Oh, Benny and I laughed our asses off. Stupid bandwagon jumpers.
Good to see the Senators knock off the Lightning too... go Sens go!!
Anyhoo... this'll be it... didn't want to stay long. Go upstairs, refresh my cup of coffee and get started. That's the plan.
