Here's My Card...

Another chapter in leaving everything wide open begins again...

You know when I made my "Opiated Sherpa Productions" business cards, I didn't think that my Blog site would be such a vehicle for my mind. The business cards though... they're great to just hand out, 'cuz it has phone numbers and e-mail adresses, not to mention a great watermark of my logo, but the Blog.

It's a great thing for my ability to sleep... I think too much as it is and once something is on paper or has been typed, there is a lesser chance that I will think of it again once I climb into bed and try to get myself to bed.

Well tonight I handed Theresa a card with my cell number on it. I prefer to give my number out than to take one from someone, 'cuz it's up to them to call and if I give it out then that should say that I want a phone number. It should be a fairly obvious sign, right?

Nevertheless, the card is out... there's a few days worth of posts on here. I shouldn't really worry about things like that, but I do. A "worst-case scenario" bit of thinking... but really, I don't have much to hide. This is me, right?

Ah well... that's my bit of overthinking for now.

I was pretty bored today, so I went for a walk. In the walk my idea of what I was gonna do had changed from moment to moment. I thought I would grab some snacks at the store, grab something with the Wildfire logo on it for the website, drop a card off to Theresa, who I knew was working and header home. In the end, I worked myself into watching whatever sports was on the TV and stay for a couple. Yup, I said it... "stay for a couple."

The result could have been a lot worse... there was an opportunity to join a few of them from the bar goin' into town and be back home for after 1am. No thanks, I thought in the end. I did stay there from 2:30pm to 9:30pm... had bottles this afternoon and an 8 inch pizza and it was less than $30... so, I was pretty impressed. I'm not overly drunk, which was good.

I even got a ride home from Theresa from the bar... (insert your comments here). Nah... sure, there was a little alterior motive to come home, but it's only for the right reasons.

Got home in time to catch the end of the Angels/White Sox game... congrats to the Sox for their pennant win... they played really well.

Anyways... Fiona Apple has joined me in bed again tonight... her voice does make me rather sleepy and I think I might take advantage of that, so goodnight all!
