It's Alive! It's Alive!

Thank goodness for my Dad... he was able to pick up the essential power cord that I required for my laptop to work with the US plug sockets! Just for those who don't know, I'm in the middle of nowhere without any mode of transportation or else yes, I would have picked it up myself. The power cord is plugged in, the battery is now charged and Opiated Sherpa Productions is back online the way it should be. Well, what should be the first order of business with the laptop? How about a picture? Yes... I haven't been able to get to my archive, so a picture will be my first priority.


This is Dewey. It's my Mom's bird, a lovebird parrot to be exact. You wouldn't know it to look at it (or if you did, you must love parrots) or by the name, but it's a she... and sometimes, she can be a bitch. Talk about personality in an animal... this one is hilarious. Anyways, here's your picture to show that the laptop is back up and running... finally!

Soon, I'm hoping that both my wireless router and laptop card come in, then I will be able to move Opiated Sherpa Productions to the deck in the backyard on nice days. The seemingly refrigerated basement, although it's best to keep Sherpas refrigerated, doesn't get a lot of sun. Myself personally, would like some sun from time to time. This job hunt keeps me on the computer a lot, the computer in the basement... it's all gonna change! Things are looking up again.


Okay, one more picture, just to celebrate. That's the refrigerated basement with the makeshift office of the Opiated Sherpa... not the most glorious of offices, hell, there isn't even a secretary (not to say there will be one when I move offices to the backyard).

Nice one, well... I wanted to get this post off before midnight... and I will do that with minutes to spare. Today I also copied two CLASSIC Cake albums, Comfort Eagle and Fashion Nugget. Both of them are fantastic. Unfortunately in my travels, I haven't been able to get the rest of the albums in the catelog... but it's in my list of things to do. Maybe one day I'll publish that as well.

How do you like the the Online Visitor countries list to the left (and up over top of the ads)? I was dead-impressed when I saw it on another site, I just had to have it. If you go to the bottom of the page, there is a list of the Top 5 countries that visited... neato!

With time to spare STILL... I'm done for the night.
