Could Have Been Better...

This afternoon finds me still without a job or even a couple phone calls. The phone calls didn't even have to be for jobs for me to feel a bit better about the day. I have been waiting for a company, Westpeak, to get back to me about my AC Adapter problem. It's like they're already trying to order the whole thing, when I just need the power cord for it. This could be the hardest piece of kit I'll ever try and get. Ha ha!

I managed to send my resume to a few places today. I signed up with a couple job finding websites, including the CIBC jobs site. Louise says anyone can become a personal banker... but if I have to wear a suit, then... well, I can't say I'm the biggest fan of suits. I don't necessarily want to wear a suit, so I'll do my best not to. A desk job would be pretty easy, but I think I'll just put back the weight that I lost in England in no time. It's quite hard to find a print job in Calgary or so it would seem. I'm sure there has to be something along those lines around here somewhere.

So while I've been on the job hunt, I've had the pleasure of keeping up with a few guys, new and old. The old days of WhizzleKitten & Gout have surfaced in e-mails, while the GoldenBozo has been leaving little messages here and there on the site. Good men!

I've done alright on the BlogExplosion Battle of the Blogs as well... as an under .500 Blog, I've done well again. I had 5 wins to my 2 losses today and gained a few more Mystery Credits than what I had earlier. I don't know what more to do with these Mystery Credits, but probably waste them on more challenges and battles. The banners don't seem to work for driving traffic my way and well... I did a lot of surfing today, so the credits aren't really needed there either.

Damn... I should really go outside. It's nice out there.
