Fragile
In the essence of me finding the remainder of my CD collection tucked away with all my stuff... this morning, I would like to post a reminder that the Fragile by Nine Inch Nails is a 2-disc set of genius. It just has to be said. Even as it's a heavy piece of Industrial Metal, to me, there's an element of relation that I get from it. Call me crazy. Call me a dark sinister force. Hell, call me Satan, if that floats your boat. This is a pretty good fuckin' album. What bugged me the most was when the new NIN album came out, I read an interview with Trent Reznor and he said that this album was done when he was in a bad place and he doesn't even rate this album as one of his better ones. WHAT?!? Saying that... I'm not the biggest NIN fan and I will never claim to be... but what the hell am I missing out on for him to say that this isn't great? It was so great listening to it again anyways.
This isn't much of a CD review and I'd like to keep it that way.
Other CDs I managed to copy last night:
- "Pretty Together" by Sloan
- "Kid A" by Radiohead
- "Zuckerbaby" by Zuckerbaby
- "Flood" by They Might Be Giants
- "Sixteen Stone" by Bush
- "Something Like Human" by Fuel
- and a few embarrassing pop CDs that would look mighty funny against this list.
