A 5-Piece Quartet
You would think by the headline of the article, there was only four of us... nope, they listed all five of our names. The Evening Gazette in Colchester, known for it's undoubted proof-reading.
Yup, that's the article in today's Gazette which is advertising for Friday night's performance.
We had another rehearsal tonight and after about a half hour or so, we started to become spot on again, thank goodness. It's really becoming a serious art for us guys. We're really taking it seriously, until we started killing ourselves laughing. We'll have one more rehearsal on Wednesday night and then maybe one more walkthrough on Friday night before we all get our kits off for the ladies. Oh yeah, we're dead sexy!
I've gotta say, although I've been growing more and more depressed lately, this has been the one light at the end of the tunnel that's kept my head level, I must say. It's excellent.
It's also gotta be said that if there is anyone in the UK that's in Colchester or will be in the Colchester area on Friday night... come down and see us. You'll have such a laugh, 'cuz I know us lads will for sure.
I'm trying to think of other things to write, 'cuz I know that the article is quite big and well, it would look so much better with writing all the way down the side of it instead of well... not.
I had a real good think about going home today. As much as I can't at the moment, I'm really getting tired of all the waiting for all my paperwork to come through so I actually know what I'm doing. Everywhere I turn, I'm blocked off by one thing or another. I don't know how long I can keep this up.
Tomorrow, I have a lot of ambition to make a whole load of phone calls to get everything sorted out or just have more information for myself to be re-assured with. That would mean an absolute lot to me.
Anyways... the brave face must continue on for a while longer. It's important that I do. I hate the feeling of being beaten and disheartened. It's an awful feeling.
