Things I Apparently Don't Need...

Luck... wagons... trousers.

Yes, those are the three topics I will cover tonight... because, well, I feel like it.

For my normal readers (you know who you are already), I haven't had much luck in the past 90+ days. Oh no... me and luck are like oil and water. No wait, quote time:

"If I didn't have bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all." Born Under A Bad Sign - Cream

Yeah, that's me...

After my bad night with Naomi on Saturday night, somewhere between taking my debit card out of my wallet, putting it back in my wallet and putting it in my card to gettting home after a train ride and a cab ride... I lost my wallet. If you can see me now, I am pointing to my groin... if circumstance could kick me right there please.

Seriously, what more do I have to endure to stay in the UK. Today, Bank Holiday Monday, one more day I can't get work, I have contemplated going back to Canada. After my initial two years, or even the month or so leading up to the anniversary, fate has given me nothing but signs to go home.

Job disappears... lease on house ends... visa expires... new girlfriend dumps me & takes me back 3 and a half times to only break my heart completely, call us good friends and be too ignorant to follow through with even that............... AND NOW MY WALLET IS GONE!

I love England... the people are great, the way of life isn't much different to Canada and well, I still have my North American accent, so it's all not so bad. But I'm beginning to think someone is out to get me. I'm no real threat, honest!

I'm not out stealing girlfriends, jobs or beer... I'm just keeping to myself with good friends and so on. I've paid my taxes and my dues already here, what more do you want from me?? Even if I want to go, your government still has my passport to decide whether or not they're gonna stamp it in the end or not. Crikey!

Anyways... yeah: Luck -1, Clayton -2. That's the scoreline at the moment.

Image hosted by Photobucket.comWagons. Who needs 'em?? Yeah, I've had a couple pints tonight. Hell, I have a can of Fosters right next to me. It just seems like the right thing to do at the moment. Off again, I am... don't know if I'll climb on again. I was at the pub in Bergholt for the Monday night rehearsal and I couldn't help myself when I was in there. The attraction was so great that I had to confide my feelings in a pint of Fosters. And it was great. So great, in fact, that it went down so well and so quickly, that yes, I did have to have another.

And another.

And another.

And then a half, because I had 10 minutes before my ride wanted to go.

And then a can when I got in the door.

Wagons, who needs 'em?

Oh yeah! Trousers! The rehearsal tonight went really well. We were missing our official choreographer and we got it down really well on our own. The lads and I are doing really well. It's Friday-week when we have to go on and I think we'll have a good laugh. I know I'm supposed to say we'll do really well, but I'd rather stick with "we'll have a good laugh."

We worked out the wrinkles of our routine ourselves and it finally made sense. We had one guy missing, but I think once we spill to him the revelations of our dance routine to him, he'll catch on to our thinking so much easier. Rather than his missus', who is the normal choreographer... HA!

Sorry if you could see the humour in that one before I got to it... it was kinda put on a platter.

Right... well, the amount of beer has limited my patience to writing... enjoy it all. Click a banner... I'm still unemployed. Every little bit helps! Cheers all!! Thanks for clickin'!

You prefer England to Canada? Am I missing something about this country? It's nice to hear you like the people though, nice compliment.
