Happy Canada Day

Hooray for Canada Day! Happy Birthday Canada!

Good morning, world. I don't feel like facing you quite yet, so I thought I would grab my laptop and go back to bed. You know why? Because I can. And I don't really feel like seeing my folks. I came in last night exceptionally drunk, which was okay. I think I managed to knock down about 6 pints and a shot of sambuca in a couple hours, so I was doing JUST fine. No, I'm not really all that hungover, just somewhat hungry more than anything. Luckily for me, there's a couple Eggo waffles in the freezer that I haven't yet touched.

So yeah, nevertheless... drinking. Joey Tomatoes in Eau Claire is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I mean, the beer is cold and the "server technology" is HOT! I only drank fast so that our waitress would be over more often. I'm sure the rest of the guys did as well.

Now, I did bring my camera with me and there might be a couple shots of something on there. Oh yeah, Jim took a few pictures. You know, I'd post one or two, but the camera isn't anywhere near me. I'm not getting out of bed until I have to.

Yeah, so anyways... the girls were hot. I mean, there were very few that I would have been disappointed to end up with at the end of the night. There was a great chance you could randomly pick one and end up with a hot one. Wow. See Lars, this is another reason why you should come to visit.

Uh-oh... I'm pretty sure I was sick last night. I think the sheer volume of how much I drank last night caught up with me at some point. Hmmmm... I don't think I want to go into the bathroom quite yet, although I have that same sick feeling again. Ah, man! Nah... I think I'll battle through this... until I can't. HA!

I watched NBC's coverage of Wimbledon yesterday and was mildly cheesed off at a couple things. I only say mildly, because it doesn't really matter, it's all just something I can write down in the Blog. One, Maria Sharapova got ousted by Venus Williams. I was really looking forward to watching the Final tomorrow, but I think I'll skip it now. Fair credit to Venus, she played exceptionally well. Two, NBC was trying to pass off their coverage as "live." It wasn't. The commentators were watching it live in person, but we, the viewers, were watching a recorded feed of the match. I already knew what the first 5 games of the first set were gonna be like, because I stumbled over the BBC website coverage of the match. That was a few hours before the coverage was to start on NBC. Really, they should have actually showed a live feed, because what's the difference between 11am and 1pm MST? Well, I suppose it would have been 3pm EST... but what's the diff?

Well, my laptop battery is feeling short lived and well... I'm feeling ill again. So, I think I best be concluding this entry for the day. I shall be back soon, I'd imagine.
