Busy Day Today...

Hey there, everyone... sorry no update yesterday. Didn't feel like it.

Today is gonna be a busy day. I have somewhat of a second interview with that computer place this afternoon, but as it happens, the bus service into town is only able to get me in just after 9am, so I get to spend a good portion of the day in Calgary today. Wish me luck though!

Yesterday, I made raisin cookies... yum! Something wasn't quite right about them, but they're definitely edible. They just didn't grow as much as I thought they would in the oven.

Played the first game of the Langdon Days ball tournament last night. Had most of my game at shortstop, excellent... played alright, missed one hot grounder, but overall not too bad in the field. Was 3-for-3 with 2 runs scored... switched sides of the plate for the third hit, felt good. But we still lost like 13-8, I think. We sent in our rubbish (slow-pitch) pitcher in the 6th inning and he pretty much ruined it for us. He was pretty terrible. Finished an 8-pack of Keith's as well... good night!

Tegan and I chatted for a bit on MSN late last night. She has an interview at a different law firm today, which gets started a half hour before mine. She was really nervous and I was trying to give her a few hints on the IM before giving her a call. I gave her a really good pep talk and should be able to ace her interview today. Good luck to her as well!!

And how 'bout the craziness in London again, eh? Detonators yesterday and five rounds into a suspect today... tube lines shut... buses windows blown out. I'm sure my Mom is glad I came home when I did, even though I wasn't living in London. It's sure providing quite the inconvenience and shock horror that people just don't need there, that's for sure. The e-mails I'm getting pretty much tell the tale:

Have you not seen what's been happening today? It's turning into F*ing
Israel!!

Exactly! That pretty much sums it up. I feel for Lucy, Roger, Maz, Jenni and all that lot working and/or in London. How awful.

I'm sure everyone will pull through this. It's not gonna get them down yet.
