Roll On, Weekend!

Friday morning, eh?? Countdown to the weekend has begun.

Today, I fear the non-drinking streak may come to a close with the slight possibility that Kelly will want to meet up. It will take some serious Luke Skywalker Jedi action not to go over to the dark side... possibly even a sword battle will ensue. You know, like the ones they poke through olives. I dunno... we'll see. I don't necessarily want to cave, but I had this discussion with Chris the other night... I fear the worst if I go out with Kelly. Mostly 'cuz he ponies up for most of the tabs, which is super-cool. I know it's payday... and it's Friday... I've been good so far... but this is the real test.

Moreso to positively justify breaking down... he won't be out for very long. I cannot see him staying out like the good ol' days. Those were some good days... out drinking until it was casino time... then it was more drinking and blackjack... what a hoot. I don't think it'll be a time like that, if at all... but who's to say? That there is my fear for the evening.

This weekend... I should be doing some rounds to pick up some pool sheets and entry money. I might give a call down to Sundance to see how serious the Bradley's are in going in. Josh had sent me an e-mail saying that he wants in. Then I gotta go see Randy in Riverbend sometime tomorrow, I know he wants in. Then out to Langdon and see the folks out there and see what I can drum up for activity. I had some other good news that Derek and girlfriend, Nicole, are joining the pool as well. I got their sheet last night. So, that's another unexpected addition... it should be a good sized pool this year, I figure.

I don't have much for plans on Sunday... it's gonna be a quiet one, I figure. Probably catch some more football in the morning/afternoon, probably go for a walk or something... hell, might even set-up the webspace for the pool then. We shall see.

But first, I have to get through today. I have one pretty big annual filing to look after today. That's all... it might be another slow one. I'm expecting the sales guys to be in today, so I can hound them about the pool. I'm kind of hoping for a couple more filings first thing this morning... I know the afternoon might be a tad shit, but that's okay.
