Look at that, eh? I'm almost coming up on my 500th post on the Tales. That's kind of exciting. I have already passed the 1-year anniversary of the Tales without real mention, but I think the number of posts make the biggest mention.

There hasn't been a lot of time since the last post, granted, but the head sure has been rolling again. I was writing text messages to Barb, without her number on the phone, which would be a disaster if I had been drinking. Nah, I saved what I wrote and put it on the Scribblings this morning, 'cuz it does seem to me to be a small keeper. There is a certain level of impatience with myself (not so much her, since I think it'll have to be me to find out for sure) when I'm by myself in the quiet contemplation of the time before sleep.

May 28 - Hooligans - Postponed
May 29 - Royals
May 31 - Royals - Game 1
May 31 - Royals - Game 2
Jun 1 - Possible make-up for Royals or Cruisers
Jun 4 - Hooligans @ 3pm

So that's my schedule this week for ball... I'm playing tonight at Shouldice @ 8:45pm... hopefully, we get ourselves a game like we had last week, the big win. A doubleheader on Wednesday, possibly another game for the Royals on Thursday, but we'll find out about that tonight, I'm hoping. There is thundershowers in the forecast tonight, so we may be lucky to get our game in tonight and there will be some make-up games to be had later in the year.

I got some running around to start thinking about... it's coming up on 10:30am already. I want to give Kristy a call around 10:30am, see if she's available for lunch, rather than her client lunches or if we should go out for a drink after work. Which might work too.

And then I'll leave you with today's image. Jen's cat, Maggie, has been hangin' out with me this morning. With my hair in the mornings, I think the cat believes we're almost the same species. Ha ha.

She was making a weird "cackle" this morning at the birds outside the window that she's sitting at there. Jen had told me about it before, but I had just heard for the first time this morning. It's actually quite funny to hear, but not quite as "cackling" as I would have expected.

I want to take more photos each day to colour up the Tales. I'm hoping to get something really good for post #500, but I'm not putting any expectation on it at all.
