Wednesday Morning... Ugh!

The fine line between being hungover and exhausted was crossed ages ago and the backlash is quite apparent at the moment. Last night's combination of pints and street/floor hockey has led me to such situations and I can't really choose between the two... which one I am more. Nevertheless, I'm not overly hurting... just "ugh!"

Yesterday, we interviewed Devin... a younger up & comer from Quebec who has quite a bit of the qualifications that we needed and the go-getter attitude that will make him really bored in a hurry... ha! Ernest gave him a ring yesterday, I haven't quite heard if he'll actually start on Monday or not... I kinda hope so. He should prove to be a pretty good guy for working purposes... not too much of a leaning curve for him. So, thumbs up to that!

I also made some good progress with Barb last night on the phone after I left the bar... I'm gonna go pick her up after work, despite her swollen glands, and take her out for the afternoon/evening. It's pretty obvious that I'm gonna have to do or die here in the selling process, so I'm pretty determined to get some sort of concrete idea of what's goin' on. I will have to conspire towards this during the afternoon hours... I work better when it gets closer to crunch time.

Should be a relatively busy one today... I have 4 or 5 sitting here waiting to go... but I'm really sort of putting them off. It's the symptoms spoken earlier that is fuelling my procrastination... what is a guy to do?
