Momentary Lapse

I should be able to write about something now... but there is another lack of good topics to kind of choose from this morning. I'm in the office, nice and early, as per usual... I don't really wanna do the hockey pool stuff yet, because, I'll just get frustrated that the NHL still hasn't updated all of their statistics yet... so instead, I'll sit here with the Blog.

Greg @ the Wildfire called me just before midnight last night... he wanted to rub in the back-to-back losses that the Canucks had to the Flames of late. I had been in bed for 45 minutes, but as of part of a dream, I went to fiddle with my alarm clock (half-awake, mind you)... when I pressed the button to turn on the tunes, all of a sudden the Mr. Plow theme comes on... talk about a major trip out. It took me once through the theme song to realize what was going on... my phone was ringing! Greg wanted to make an extra point of waking me up, which I didn't admit that he sort of did, to either talk to me or leave a voice mail message (joke would have been on him there, 'cuz my voice mail isn't active) about the Canucks/Flames games. You know... I would have done the same to him... possibly.

Had another hard time getting to sleep last night... one of these nights I'm gonna go upstairs to where that hamster is spinning in my head and shoot it, I swear. I can't even use milk to my advantage anymore. (Point of note: I have an allergy to milk that makes [or made] me drowsy all the time).

Could be a fairly quiet day at the office today... gonna have to work on Remembrance Day. Don't know too many people who will get that day off... hopefully quite a few in Calgary do, so they stay off the bleedin' roads.

Well, not much more to tell ya for the moment...
