Friday Morning... No Pics.

Friday morning and nothing on my plate at work. So... I think I might try and get a whole load of writing done this morning and then see where it all goes from there. Maybe, just maybe, I might be able to get out of here early today.

Last night was very quiet again. There was no sign of Trisha, so those ideas were thrown right out the window. So instead of going out, I stayed in... grabbed some pizza and a few beers and went home. I sat in front of the computer for a while, hung out with Chris for a bit downstairs... Jen was working at the Folk Fest... and by 10pm, I was in bed.

It was so warm in the house last night as well... my room is one of the coolest in there, with the fan in the window. So, I was better off in there anyways. But I had left the front door open for Jen, which I think she had a panic attack when she couldn't see me right away in the house. It's a shame her first instinct is to yell... if I had actually fallen asleep, that'd be really annoying.

This morning, she got up and punished me (I think) by having a shower first... yay!! We need to get a plumber or someone into the house to look at the plumbing in the bathroom. The faucet doesn't shut off well... does anyone have a plumbing blog I can surf to?? I wasn't too pleased with the cooler shower, so I pretty much just walked out without chatting with Jen this morning... I was kinda fuming when I left. I feel a bit better now.

I'm already up a few bucks in the poker this morning... came in 2nd on a $1.10 buy-in tournament and took a couple bucks from a regular table after a few hands. So, I'm definitely in a better mood this morning. I think I'll update the Hockey Pool Domain, maybe get a column on Canucks Rush done... and maybe a couple more games of poker in this afternoon.

Apparently, Natasha is working until noon today, so I'm almost expecting a call from her this afternoon, otherwise I'll give her a bell after I finish up here at the office.

Well, my writing has been hijacked by chatting on MSN with Basil & Sue... haven't spoken with Sue in a long while. Nice to hear the news... even if it is a little depressing. Heh heh... sounds like things have been changin' for the Jones family... for the better, I'm sure.

Anyways... now that my attention is distraught... I'm gonna leave this post.
