Everyone Wants A Slinky

That's the scene from my desk... my MP3 player, a stack of McDonalds hockey cards and a slinky highlights the great display on my desk this morning.

Much like yesterday, today is probably gonna be a nose to the grindstone kinda day. I only worked on one filing all day yesterday... man, was it huge. I have almost a replica of that filing to do again today. I'm hoping a lot of the tables and stuff that I had to convert to HTML are the same as the previous one. Thanks very much... copy & paste. That'll make the day so much better.

Now we're getting into the year-end sort of filings and some companies seem to be panicing because they are still to file some of their 2004 year-end shit still. Geez... there's nothing better than an inbox full of Financial Statements. Mmmmm... tables are HTML's best friend.

I think Troy and Lee... not to mention, myself... will have our work cut out for us here with EDGAR.

I tried giving Barbara a call last night a couple times... the second time around 7:30pm, I left a message. Fortunately, she called back! Yeah, we'll meet up sometime after 7:30pm tonight... so that's mildly exciting. I'll probably end up working until that time, just so I can feel comfortable leaving the office without a giant load still to come.

On the way in this morning to the office... one of the lighted boards on the Highway said the temperature was minus-31 outside. Ugh. I haven't looked at my Weather Channel do-hickey on my page yet... I wonder what that says. I thought we were supposed to be having a chinook again here soon. Lee said plus-7 on Friday... here's hoping.

Alright... I've got a new cup of coffee... time to get the filings that have come in already sorted out for Troy when he gets in. You know, I'm in charge of that sort of thing now. Woo hoo!!
