Good morning Sherpalings... I thought I'd kill a bit of time this morning with a little post. Don't really have a whole lot to chat about this morning... just kind of a bleh Tuesday morning, although it's still fairly warm up here in Calgary. A waking temperature of +6 celcius makes for a great start to the day... should see a high of +16 when its all said and done. If this is global warming, then count me in!! (Just kidding) But +6 in the middle of November... in the morning no less... yeowsers!! Don't have to scrape the windshield of the car... still wearing a spring jacket... no gloves, scarves or boots... fantastic.

This morning, I took the car in for a wheel alignment... recommended when I got the alternator fixed up. I'll probably price out some winter tires here soon too. It's not gonna be +16 through December, I'll tell ya that much. Certainly the transition from being a non-driver to a pay-through-the-nose motorist has been a little easier than expected... it's probably because the process is 90% mental and 10% financial. Tell that to my chequebook, eh??

Pressing issues for the day... probably none. I may try to be a little more pro-active with Theresa though... try and sort the mess in my head out. It's either that mess or the mess in my bedroom... and well... I might have to flip a coin. They're both really bad. Nah... I'll give her a ring around lunch time, see if I can get a chat with her today. There hasn't been a great deal of conversation between us when we're sitting in the pub... so, it'll be my job to try and fix that. I think I can talk myself into it.

Another interactive half-awake dream scared the bejeezus out of me this morning... at about 1am, I dreamt that there was someone who needed a ride somewhere and there was a figure that walked out of my bedroom. Rather startled when I finally sort of woke up, I had to walk to the staircase to see if anyone had left the basement, 'cuz I wasn't too sure if there was anyone there or not. I was also worried in my dream states that I was using my remote car starter from bed for no apparent reason and leaving my car to run all night. It does shut off after 10 minutes with no key in the ignition, so I sort of calmed myself down with that fact in hand. Man, I'm a Dream Machine lately... if only I can tap that sort of thing up to a webcam or something and broadcast it live... I'd have myself a pretty interesting channel. I wonder if I talk in my sleep when these dreams happen...

I'll leave this post with the greatest contradiction of this century... "I'm going out for some fresh air and a smoke."
