A Case of the Mondays
I don't really feel like writing this morning, but I still have about 20 minutes before I would even consider leaving the cafe. This morning, I have already worked on a couple more Sherpa photos for posting later on today.
I had a pretty heavy pancake breakfast... that may just contribute to my lack of interest in writing. Yet, I'm writing anyways... aren't I? Ha.
People are still looking at the Tales after searching for dates on Google, MSN and AOL. I still get a good giggle from the married personal ad seekers and the Scottish personals keyword also is quite funny.
Hmmmmmm... my legs are not overly keen on walking around today. All the ball played yesterday has deadened my legs and hopefully a couple more cups of coffee will wake them up.
What else... hmmmm... I don't know.
It took me ages to get to sleep last night. I thought I would be able to pass out as soon as my head hit the pillow. Not the case. I went to bed at about 10:30pm last night and I looked at the clock a few times... the last time was probably just after 2am. Granted, I think I did sort of get some sleep in that time, but I don't think it was really all that much.
I wonder what this week's working scenario will be like. I won't get paid this week, it looks like payday isn't until next week. That doesn't help. It's gonna be a cheaper weekend, I hope... but then again, if there is lots of ball to be played, from Friday through Sunday, then that'll mean a little bit more beer. A couple cases will probably do me well.
This week, I have to create the sign-up sheet for the Wildfire Hockey Pool. I wonder how much actual interest there will be... hopefully lots!
I haven't been to the Wildfire since the drunken debacle last week. I don't know how well I was behaved when my system went into autopilot. Fingers crossed that I behaved myself. I will probably do up a sign-up sheet while I'm at work so I can print it out.
Well, this was me taking up all the available time I had to write. I think I will pay the bill, walk outside and put on the ol' MP3 player until Chris shows up to let me in. Heh heh. Have a good day, kids!
