An Anecdote Before Bed

I've been sitting at my computer for about 5 minutes waiting for the Create Post page to come up on Blogger and it's taking forever. There must be a ton of traffic on the server now, 'cuz it has been like this for a while.

I forgot to mention a funny little story from work on Friday...

A customer of the company's came in to pick up a server on Friday and I had wheeled it out to him and he makes mention that he hadn't seen me before.

"How long has it been since you decided to work here?" he enquired.

"Oh, it's going on three weeks now..."

"How are you finding it here?"

Well, I began to hum and haw a bit, not really gonna lie to the guy... but I wasn't prepared to come out and say what was really on my mind.

"They're pain in the asses, aren't they?" he said to me with a smile...

"Well... errrr... uhhh...."

"Don't worry, I'll say it for ya. HOw long you planning on staying?"

Again, I couldn't find the correct dialogue before he interjected again... "You know I've seen..." and just as he started counting on his fingers the number of sales guys he'd seen lately, Justin walked out and the conversation took an abrupt end.

You know, that really makes a guy think when the customers are thinking what the new guy is thinking... what kind of place is this??

11:30pm... thought I'd share a little story before I completely forgot it. I can't believe I didn't write it right away on Friday... but there was beer to be had.
